Job summary

Lennar is seeking a security engineer to implement controls across cloud and on‑prem environments and support deployments, upgrades, and migrations of security platforms. You will onboard log sources to the SIEM, automate repetitive tasks, and collaborate with IT teams to resolve policy and configuration issues.

The role requires 1–3 years in security roles, experience with cloud services, and scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS, cybersecurity, or engineering.
• 1–3 years in security engineering, network engineering, systems administration, or security operations.
• 1+ years in a public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OCI) including identity, network, and logging services.
• Experience with enterprise security platforms such as SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning, or firewall management.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Build, test, and validate changes before production.
• Onboard log sources into the SIEM and ensure reporting.
• Triage alerts and work with owners to remediate.
• Participate in rotating on‑call for security incidents.
