Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Security Engineer II to implement and operate security controls across cloud and on-prem environments. The role emphasizes hands-on work, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of security products with on-call rotations.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to deploy security platforms, onboard log sources to the SIEM, and write automation scripts. A bachelor's degree and 1–3 years in security fields are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 1–3 years in security engineering, network engineering, systems administration, or security operations.
• 1+ years hands-on work in a public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or OCI).
• Experience with enterprise firewalls or remote access VPN preferred.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, NAT, VPN, and TLS.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Configure and test changes before production in collaboration with senior engineers.
• Handle day-to-day configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of security products.
• On-board log sources into the SIEM and automate repetitive work.
• Support deployments, upgrades, migrations, and incident response activities.
• Document changes and create runbooks and change records.
