Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer II to join their Information Security team.

The role focuses on managing, administering, reporting and enhancing security solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments and aligning security processes with technology solutions. You will collaborate with IT Security, Infrastructure and Application teams to embed security into technology solutions, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to a culture of security awareness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years in information security engineering or IT security.
• Experience with security solution administration for enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with Vulnerability Management, SIEM, EDR, IAM, PAM, cloud security, DLP, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of security solutions aligned to security strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as technical administrator across network, endpoint, cloud, identity, and application layers.
• Assist in integration and operation of security technologies for scalability and resilience.
• Partner with project teams to implement new security tools and services.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure secure processes.
• Provide expertise in incident response and risk mitigation.
• Develop and maintain security standards, policies, and documentation.
• Mentor junior security staff and promote security awareness.
