Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer Level 2 to design, plan, and implement in-house and cloud-based information systems and enterprise software architectures that support the bank's information security operations.

You will act as a technical resource for security engineering, applying advanced knowledge to build and deliver solutions that enhance the bank's security posture and align with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field.
• Professional level knowledge of common network protocols.
• Experience with at least three technologies: Networking, Windows OS, security infrastructure, virtualization, cloud services.
• Experience in change management processes and secure operations.
• Cloud administration and security experience in Azure and/or AWS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and implement in-house and cloud-based security architectures and solutions.
• Architect, engineer, and deploy advanced security solutions enterprise-wide.
• Assist Security Analysts as escalation point for security alerts and events.
• Design, implement, and optimize technical controls to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Maintain and enforce enterprise security policies, standards and procedures.
