Amazon HealthSec is seeking a Security Engineer I to protect healthcare services and infrastructure. You will assess security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and integrate security controls into evolving systems, collaborating with security engineers and product teams.

Responsibilities include reviewing network architecture, performing risk assessments, and driving security automation while maintaining threat models and security guidelines to safeguard Amazon HealthCare operations.

Competenze

• 2+ years of web protocols, common security attacks, and remediation (non-internship).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing.

About the team

Amazon Healthcare Security's (HealthSec) team is hiring a Security Engineer to protect Amazon HealthCare’s services and infrastructure. You will assess security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and integrate security controls into rapidly evolving operational systems. Working closely with security engineers and product teams, you will safeguard the networks, devices, and workflows that power Amazon's healthcare operations.

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
