Lendistry is seeking a Security Engineer I to manage day-to-day security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management across corporate IT and cloud environments. You will coordinate with SOC, MSSP, and other teams to detect threats, respond quickly, and close issues without slowing business velocity.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of cybersecurity or SOC experience, hands-on SIEM/EDR skills, knowledge of cloud security, and scripting ability for automation.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations (SOC), or incident response.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM and EDR platforms for alert triage and investigation.
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure security services and cloud logging.
• Basic scripting ability for automation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts from SIEM/EDR and cloud-native tools.
• Act as first responder and incident coordinator, executing incident response playbooks.
• Maintain incident records, timelines, and evidence; facilitate post-incident reviews.
• Provide timely incident status updates to IT, Legal, Compliance, and leadership.
