Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on cybersecurity experience with MSP, SOC, or IT services
• Experience deploying endpoint protection and patching platforms
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure AD environments
• Familiar with compliance frameworks (NIST 800-171, CMMC, ITAR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
• Proven ability to own security projects end-to-end

Responsibilities

• Phase 1: Own daily security operations including endpoint protection, patching, IAM, vulnerability scanning, logging and monitoring
• Deploy and manage tools such as SentinelOne, Huntress, Defender, Azure AD, Intune, Conditional Access, and MFA
• Support compliance initiatives (CMMC, ITAR, NIST, HIPAA) and perform internal security assessments
• Evaluate and implement SIEM, EDR, email filtering, and threat intelligence tools
• Respond to security events and coordinate incident resolution and reporting
• Collaborate with service desk and engineering to remediate risks and enforce baselines
• Assist in vendor and tool selection as the organization scales
