Systems Integration Inc. is seeking a Cloud Solutions Engineer (Future Practice Lead) for an in-person, five-day-per-week role in Wallingford, CT. You will build and lead a cloud services practice, deploying Azure-based infrastructures, migrating on-prem workloads, and automating provisioning with IaC tools.

This role offers hands-on engineering now with a view to leadership. You will design standardized templates, help define packaging and pricing, mentor engineers, and contribute to pre-sales.

Competenze

• Three to five years of hands-on cloud infrastructure engineering experience, preferably in MSP/IT services/consulting.
• Proficient with scripting and IaC tools (PowerShell, Terraform, or Bicep).
• Knowledge of security principles (IAM, encryption, conditional access).
• Proven ability to lead technical projects from deployment through post-implementation support.
• Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and client-facing communication skills.

Mansioni

• Design and deploy cloud infrastructure for clients on Azure and/or AWS.
• Migrate on-prem workloads to cloud environments including servers and apps.
• Automate provisioning using Terraform, Bicep, Azure ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.
• Configure and manage IaaS/PaaS services, networks, storage, backups, and monitoring.
• Implement security best practices and cost/performance optimization.
• Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity using cloud tools.
• Document cloud environments and standard configurations; maintain templates.
• Lead and mentor engineers as the practice grows; develop SOPs and packaging/pricing.
