Job summary

Magic is hiring a Security Engineer to build and maintain security tooling, automation, and infrastructure protecting models, systems, and the engineering organization from both traditional and frontier AI cyber threats. You will respond to threats and help develop secure practices for incident response.

You will work at the intersection of software, infrastructure, and security, collaborating with researchers and platform teams to reduce risk while preserving productivity.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in producing production-grade software in Rust, Go, Python, C++, Kotlin, or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of modern MITRE ATT&CK techniques.
• Experience securing distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain security tooling and automation for engineering teams.
• Secure developer infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and production services.
