Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer to build and maintain security controls for corporate infrastructure, endpoints, and applications. You will partner with IT and engineering to reduce risk while keeping user productivity high.

You will work on macOS, mobile endpoints, and enterprise systems with emphasis on zero-trust, threat detection, and secure configurations, reporting to the CorpSec team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in security engineering
• 2+ years securing macOS or similar endpoints in an enterprise
• Ability to write production code (services, integrations, automations) for security
• Experience shipping security projects end-to-end with minimal direction
• Familiarity with device trust and zero trust network access products

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions to harden endpoints and protect enterprise data
• Perform security reviews on enterprise systems and software
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into engineering initiatives
• Identify and close data exfiltration paths from local AI agents and tools on endpoints
• Provide code review guidance to engineers to raise security standards
