Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year or high school/GED + at least four years of experience in IT
• Knowledge of security protocols and standards, vulnerability assessment tools, packet analyzers, scripting languages and security management suites, and countermeasures implemented to internet programs
• Experience with security engineering, identity protection, and/or security infrastructure engineering

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, and manage the employer's information security architecture
• Design, build, operate and automate security solutions and procedures to defend the integrity of networks, systems, applications and data
• Works as a team member on issues of light scope, complexity, or variety
• Can lead small initiatives and typically works on small-to-moderate scope across multiple tech areas
• Set up, configure, test and maintain vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and application security tools (IAST, DAST, MAST)
• Conduct scoping, scheduling, evaluation, and reporting for penetration assessments
• Recommends and implements solutions
• Participates in identifying and enforcing additional protection controls
• Evaluates security functions and improvements
• Collaborates with IT and development teams to implement security policies and practices
• Monitors security configurations and audits to ensure compliance with policies and standards
• Performs network security audits and testing to validate configurations and risk posture
