Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of IT enterprise experience or 4+ years in enterprise IT.
• Understanding of security protocols, vulnerability assessment tools, packet analyzers, scripting languages, and security control suites.
• Experience with security engineering, identity engineering, security applications engineering and/or security infrastructure engineering.
• Willingness to work at least 10% of the time for enterprise functions inside and outside the state.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, test, and manage the organization’s information protection architecture.
• Configure, test, and control the employer’s data safety structure.
• Design, build, operate and automate protection solutions to safeguard networks, systems, and data.
• Collaborate across teams and lead small tasks within enterprise areas.
• Install, configure, test and preserve vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools (IAST, DAST, MAST).
• Scope, schedule, analyze, and report on penetration assessments; implement solutions.
• Identify and implement additional security controls; continually improve protections.
• Work with internal teams and partners to align security regulations and strategies.
• Evaluate security configuration statistics and assess the effectiveness of changes.
• Monitor compliance with security standards and conduct periodic security audits using ethical hacking.
• Resolve issues and roadblocks as they occur.
• Perform network security audits and evaluate machine security configurations for compliance.
