Job summary

PIP Labs is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to own and strengthen security across our cloud environment, endpoints, and internal systems. You will balance operations with automation to support a globally distributed environment, investigate alerts, improve controls, and implement fixes directly.

You’ll secure AWS, manage endpoint protection, automate workflows, and collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to ship secure solutions while strengthening data access and protection

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud security and IT security operations.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security, IAM, logging and monitoring.
• Hands-on with endpoint protection tooling (CrowdStrike) and device management (Jamf).
• Ability to automate security workflows via scripting and APIs.
• Proactive, communicative, and able to work with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day security operations across cloud, endpoints and internal systems.
• Secure and administer AWS environment and improve cloud posture.
• Manage endpoint security and device controls (CrowdStrike, Jamf).
• Automate recurring security workflows and scale controls across teams.
• Collaborate with infra and engineering teams to fix risks and misconfigurations.
• Own software supply chain hygiene and third-party code vetting.
• Support identity, access, device and internal IT security needs for a distributed team.
• Develop and maintain security procedures and playbooks.
• Strengthen data access and protection for real-world datasets in the network ecosystem.
• Enhance security readiness against credential theft and social-engineering threats.
