Worth AI is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to strengthen vulnerability management, harden our AWS environment, and integrate application security into our software delivery. The role spans vulnerability management, cloud security, and secure development practices, working closely with engineering, IT, and compliance to deliver secure outcomes.

You’ll own remediation initiatives end‑to‑end, manage tickets against SLAs, and contribute to security tooling and processes that protect customer

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in security engineering or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS security services (IAM, VPC, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail).
• Practical knowledge of vulnerability management and remediation workflows.
• Familiarity with SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, and secure coding practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own vulnerability management program across endpoints, servers, and cloud infrastructure; triage, prioritize, and track findings through remediation.
• Monitor and harden AWS environments; implement guardrails and baseline configurations; respond to security alerts and incidents.
• Support SAST, DAST, and dependency/SCA scanning in CI/CD; participate in secure code reviews and threat modeling.
• Triage and resolve security tickets within SLAs; lead cross‑functional security initiatives; communicate risk and status to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and compliance to embed security into daily workflows.
