Meta’s Central Security team is seeking a security engineer to identify weaknesses before attackers do and build solutions that eliminate them. You will provide AI security and native-code security guidance to product and engineering teams to help them make sound decisions while safeguarding user privacy.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in security engineering with vulnerability research, penetration testing, or security assessments of production systems.
• 3-5+ years programming experience with Python, PHP, Ruby, or similar scripting languages
• 4+ years reviewing C/C++. Knowledge of secure coding practices.
• Experience with security architecture, least privilege, and risk mitigation.
• Experience identifying and mitigating security and privacy risks in internet-facing products or services.

Responsibilities

• Provide security guidance on a constant stream of new products and technologies.
• Take a leadership role in driving internal security and privacy initiatives.
• Analyze, assess, and respond to various internet threats.
• Interact directly with the security community regarding mobile security vulnerabilities and threats.
• Conduct regular security assessments with a focus on mobile platform and application code.
