Job summary

Meta's security team in Seattle is seeking a security engineer to identify weaknesses in products and build solutions that mitigate them. You will guide engineering and product teams on AI and native-code security, helping protect the safety of billions of users.

You will play a pivotal role in driving internal security initiatives, threat analysis, and collaboration with the security community to strengthen mobile security and overall platform integrity.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in security engineering (vulnerability research, penetration testing, or security assessments).
• 3-5+ years programming experience with Python, PHP, or Ruby (or similar scripting languages).
• 4+ years of experience reviewing C and C++. Knowledge of secure code development practices.
• Working knowledge of security architecture principles and least privilege.

Responsibilities

• Provide security guidance on new products and technologies.
• Lead internal security and privacy initiatives.
• Analyze, assess, and respond to internet threats.
• Interact with the security community on mobile security vulnerabilities and threats.
