Job Title: Security Engineer

Location: Remote Job

Duration: 12 Months+

Job Description:

• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud security, DevOps practices, and OWASP
• You will play a key role in supporting our security operations, enhancing our cloud and DevOps environments, and contributing to the overall security posture of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design and implementation of security controls across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist in managing cloud infrastructure security, identity and access controls, and encryption practices.
• Perform security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and help remediate findings.
• Contribute to secure code reviews and support application security testing processes.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts, incidents, and log data as part of ongoing operations.
• Work with senior security engineers to implement best practices aligned with OSAP security standards.
• Document security procedures and contribute to policy and standards development.

Qualifications:

• 5 - 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, including exposure to cloud security and DevOps environments.
• Familiarity with common cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
• Understanding of application security principles and tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, secret scanning).
• Working knowledge of OSAP or similar secure development frameworks is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Certifications (not required):

• AWS Certified Security - Specialty
• Certified DevSecOps Professional
• CompTIA Security+, CISSP (Associate), or similar
