Job summary

LandEarly is seeking a Security Engineer to protect our auto-apply platform and user data. You will design and implement security controls across cloud, code, and CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with engineering to bake security into documentation and shipping.

You will monitor for threats, lead incident response, conduct threat modeling, and coordinate vulnerability testing. Strong communication and automation skills are essential to balance risk with product velocity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a security engineering, application security, or infrastructure security role.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and modern web application architectures.
• Experience with security tooling such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection.
• Familiarity with secure SDLC practices and common frameworks (OWASP, NIST, SOC 2).
• Solid scripting or programming ability (Python, Go) for automation and tooling.
• Clear communicator who can explain risk and trade-offs to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
