Santcore Technologies is seeking a HashiCorp Vault/Zero Trust Security Engineer to join our IAME team. This senior-level role requires hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault (Enterprise Edition) and expertise in Zero Trust Architecture. The role involves leading the delivery and management of Secret Management Services in a highly available, secure, and resilient configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

• HashiCorp Vault: Lead and manage the integration and operationalization of
• and security across environments.
• Secret Management: Assist application teams with onboarding digital secrets,
• reviewing environment authentication methods, and managing secrets engines.
• Develop policies, compliance reporting, and lifecycle management processes.
• Solution Architecture: Design and implement solutions based on business
• requirements, collaborating with vendors' teams for secure deployment. Ensure that
• all organizational ecosystems (MS-AD, monitoring, backup, SIEM) are integrated
• Zero Trust Security: Apply Zero Trust principles in the IAM (Identity Access
• Management) space, focusing on non-human identities strategy and enforcement.
• Automation & Reporting: Drive automation for processes using Terraform,
• Python, and bash scripting. Develop and maintain regular reporting on metrics and
• deliverables, ensuring compliance with set objectives.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor engineers, assisting in the implementation of
• senior management policies and objectives. Translate these into actionable
• Operational Readiness: Support operational readiness, ensuring that solutions are
• ready for deployment and integration.
• On-Call Duty: Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to support critical issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

• HashiCorp Vault: Expertise in HashiCorp Vault (Enterprise Edition), with hands-on
• experience in implementation and management.
• Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• DevOps Tools: Experience with Jira, Git, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools.
• Programming/Scripting: Strong command of Python, REST-API, and bash
• scripting for task automation.
• Operating Systems: Expertise in RHEL 8 & 9 system administration, ensuring the
• stability and security of the operating environment.
• Security Expertise: Deep understanding of Zero Trust Security principles,
• especially in IAM and non-human identity management.
• Splunk: Experience with Splunk and querying data to enhance monitoring and
• reporting.
• Team Leadership: Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional tasks.
• Certifications: Any relevant certifications in security or HashiCorp Vault are a
