Job summary

Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. is seeking a Group Leader – Security & Emergency Services to oversee physical security operations across the plant, supervise security personnel, and coordinate with external partners to mitigate risk and maintain a safe workplace.

The role drives training, emergency preparedness, incident response, data analysis, and collaboration with public safety agencies, while ensuring compliance with policies and continuous improvement of security programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with relevant security experience (minimum 2 years).
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness/response and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security personnel and contract staff, reinforce training, monitor performance, and ensure risk management.
• Develop and improve security policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Support deployment and maintenance of access control, alerting, and security systems; escalate issues as needed.
• Collaborate with public safety and emergency services for incident response and site coordination.
• Coordinate security audits and analyze data to identify trends and mitigation needs.
• Lead training sessions, drills, and simulated emergencies to ensure organizational preparedness.
