Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of security or related experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Strong understanding of security operations.
• Ability to solve problems under general supervision.
• Able to organize workload for effective implementation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to act decisively in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision of security/fire staff at assigned GM site(s) and travel as needed.
• Ensure compliance with General Motors Global Security Manual, local SOPs, and supplier policies.
• Evaluate risks and ensure adequate site coverage; oversee post orders and regulations.
• Advise management during emergencies and ensure proper subordinate response.
• Interface with plant/site management to discuss security services and improvements.
• Maintain records, surveillance, and corrective actions; ensure proper billing to GM.
