Job summary

Woodleigh Chase by Erickson Senior Living in Fairfax, Virginia is hiring a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT). You will patrol the property, respond to emergencies, enforce traffic rules, and support the gatehouse operations to keep residents safe.

Starting pay is $21–$23 per hour, with bi-weekly pay, and a benefits package including health coverage, retirement savings, PTO, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferred.
• Proactive, vigilant and detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality and efficiency.
• Current EMR and CPR certification; higher level acceptable; EMR within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property, provide relief staffing for the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls for service.
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations.
• Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care using basic interventions.
• Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and other potential criminal activity.
• Coordinate with local police, fire, and EMS during emergencies.
• Complete thorough incident reports using the online report system.

Join our Woodleigh Chase team as a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) at our gated retirement community. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our Security and Emergency Services programs and providing outreach within the community.

Compensation: Starting at $21 - Max at $23, Per hour. Based on experience, paid Bi-Weekly!

What you will need

• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification and CPR certification. (Higher level certification/licensure is acceptable as a condition of hire, however, new hires will be required to obtain EMR certification within 30 days).
