Position Summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients. The Electronics Technician is responsible for all electronic systems and computerized controls for the facility, which include locking systems, fire alarm systems, intercom/public address system, closed circuit TV, nurse-call, and other security-related systems.

Essential Job Functions

1. Ensure all preventive maintenance schedules are executed on time according to manufacturers' specifications or client requirements.
2. Perform administrative tasks such as work order documentation and record keeping. Familiarize with the facility's design, layout, and security procedures related to electronic systems.
3. Assist in developing and maintaining a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), preventive maintenance schedules, warranty status, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.
4. Maintain professional relationships with client staff, answer questions, provide solutions, and make recommendations. Serve as a technical advisor during client meetings if needed.
5. Use electronic test equipment effectively during work tasks.
6. Inspect building security and electronic systems thoroughly.
7. Perform preventive maintenance on smoke detectors and related control systems.
8. Read blueprints and schematics accurately.
9. Manage preventive and corrective electronics work orders.
10. Ensure all work complies with contractual standards, quality, safety, and OSHA regulations.
11. Maintain a clean and safe work environment during and after maintenance tasks.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
