Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Engineer 3 for its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit.

The role involves designing, engineering, integrating, operating and maintaining electronic security services—intrusion detection, access control, biometrics, video surveillance, AV, IT systems, and command and control—for federal, local, and commercial customers. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain a SECRET

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
• Must obtain a Security+ within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining system documentation and maintenance records, and generating weekly/monthly status reports.
• Staying current on industry trends and products (4–6 hours weekly).
• Installing and configuring networks per IDP to meet customer needs.
• Researching equipment from multiple manufacturers to resolve installation/testing issues.
• Providing systems support for a large HPC center, including OS, peripherals, and interfaces.
