Job summary

Allied Universal in Wilmington, DE is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver to safeguard clients across various industries, including chemical/petrochemical sites. This unarmed patrol role requires a valid driver’s license and strong customer service skills to deter incidents and maintain a secure environment.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, document activity with daily reports, and respond calmly to emergencies.

Qualifications

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Criminal background check in accordance with laws.
Background history accepted per law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access and verify credentials as directed by site procedures; document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify site contacts and emergency responders as required.
Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports and communicate information to incoming personnel and site management.
