Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Patrol Driver in Normal, IL. The role involves serving and safeguarding clients across multiple industries, conducting routine unarmed patrols, monitoring access, and reporting incidents.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and offers opportunities for customer service excellence and career growth. The schedule is DayTime with shifts starting at 5:30 AM, paying $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required.
• Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
