Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Driver Entry Screening in Gastonia, NC. You will manage site access, verify credentials, and provide customer service at an automotive location. A valid driver’s license is required, and a background check and drug screen may apply. Shift schedule includes multiple evening blocks.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required as per policy.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• State/city security license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Criminal histories considered per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive location.
• Monitor access points, verify IDs, issue visitor credentials, and log entries/exits.
• Respond to access-related incidents and alarms, escalate as needed.
• Conduct patrols of assigned points and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist emergency response by directing individuals and communicating with site personnel.
