Job summary

GDI, Inc. is seeking a District Manager to supervise Security Officers and oversee a mixed portfolio of client accounts. You will plan, organize and direct security services to exceed each client’s expectations and promote growth of new business within the market.

The role requires travel to sites across the Northeast and nationwide during emergencies and for site startups, on-call 24/7, and leadership of site supervisors. Proficiency in spreadsheets for payroll and billing is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in law enforcement, military or multi-building security leadership.
• Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with high integrity and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers and oversee a mixed portfolio of client accounts.
• Plan, organize and direct security services to exceed client expectations.
• Maintain client relationships and promote growth of new business within the market.
• Travel to locations outside district to assist with new contracts.
• Prepare weekly payroll and billing; proficient with spreadsheet programs.
• Coach site supervisors and lead by example in district management.
