Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a Dispatcher to support security operations in Los Angeles. Under the supervision of the Security Manager, you will dispatch Security Personnel to emergency and non-emergency calls, monitor alarms and CCTV, and operate the CAD system.

Candidates must hold a valid California driver’s license and POS T Certification within 6 months of hire; prior dispatch experience is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Requires valid California driver’s license.
• POS T Certification as a Dispatcher or obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with emergency dispatch and monitoring security systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch Security Personnel to emergency and non-emergency calls for service.
• Process and record emergency and routine calls and complaints.
• Answer incoming phone calls, operate a computer aided dispatch system.
• Monitor and direct appropriate response to all calls; monitor CCTV system.
