Job summary

Allied Universal seeks a Security Officer Communications Driver in Carmel, IN to serve clients across utilities and other sectors. From a dispatch center, you will monitor access control, alarms, and video systems, coordinate responses, and maintain clear communications to ensure a secure environment.

This full-time position requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and ability to work night shifts. CPR is preferred; background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Five years of industrial security experience or two years of military, law enforcement, EMT, or fire department service.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while following security procedures and emergency response plans.
• Monitor access control, alarm and video systems from a dispatch center.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch responses to incidents and alarms.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized access.
