Responsibilities

• Monitors and responds to alarms; traces access patterns, programs or removes user permissions, updates databases, and remotely opens and secures doors during routine and emergency operations; determines when to dispatch law enforcement or other personnel to investigate.
• Monitors routine and emergency calls for police, fire, medical or other services; prioritizes events and coordinates with law enforcement units and agencies.
• Performs system checks on dispatch center equipment; troubleshoots problems, conducts inventories, logs, and prepares reports; uses NCIC and other interfaces to support operations and investigations.
