Job summary

Required is experience in software development, systems engineering or DevOps with leadership, strong security knowledge, and vendor management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 2–4 years' experience, or bachelor's with 3–5 years, plus seven years in relevant technical work.
• 7+ years of relevant technical experience and 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience in software development, systems engineering or DevOps with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Security DevOps team responsible for security tooling across Information Security Office functions.
• Set technical direction and solution architecture; manage operational results in the security technology portfolio.
• Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and vendor management under a buy-before-build model.
• Apply modern DevOps practices with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
• Develop and manage an engineering team spanning software development, automation, operations, and UX.
• Coordinate with central IT, procurement, legal, and academic units.
