Job summary

Cloudforce One, part of United States Digital Space LLC, is hiring a Security Detections Engineer in Austin, TX. You will identify, track, and defeat sophisticated threats and abuse across our platform, in real-time. You will develop detections leveraging modern tech and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.

Leverage data analytics, IOC trends, and scripting to build proactive defenses, mentor teammates, and contribute to threat intel gatherings across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing attacker TTPs and cyber campaigns.
• Ability to synthesize technical information for diverse audiences.
• Strong SQL querying and data visualization skills.
• Proficiency in Python or scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Identify, track, and defeat sophisticated threats and abuse across our platform.
• Examine and mitigate threats in real-time, using emerging technologies to build detections.
• Document insights and communicate actionable threat intelligence to technical and exec stakeholders.
