Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Physical Security Design Lead and Contract Document Specialist to drive contract documents and design templates for global office builds. You will act as the technical authority for access control, intrusion, and video systems, coordinating with cross-functional teams and feeding lessons learned back into documentation.

You will use automation and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate documentation updates while ensuring alignment with regional standards and RIBA/A/E

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of design engineering experience in physical security or low-voltage systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Core technical expertise in access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercommunications, radio, and network systems.
• Ability to author specifications, drawings, and equipment schedules from scratch.
• Strong understanding of A/E deliverables and CSI-format specifications; CSI processes and submittals.
• Experience developing internal tools (web apps, BIM add-ins, scripting/automation).
• Detail-oriented technical author with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel globally and work in active construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the contract document basis of design (BOD) and templates.
• Author design templates for access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, and network systems across projects.
• Review consulting deliverables for accuracy and alignment with the BOD and drive cross-discipline coordination.
• Support bid, construction, and handover phases with clarifications, RFIs, and submittal reviews.
• Collaborate with GSIS, Real Estate, Network Team, and security integrators to capture operational needs for BOD updates.
• Maintain the GSIS design library under version control and track changes.
• Implement automation and AI-assisted workflows to streamline design/document tasks.
