Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a hands‑on security data platform owner to lead the systems and pipelines that run our security program across IT, OT, cloud, and bare metal. You will design and operate tooling for log onboarding, detection engineering, and alert tuning while embedding security into CI/CD and software development lifecycles.

Qualifications

• You have designed, implemented, and maintained security infrastructure and tooling.
• You build a modern stack from the ground up rather than maintaining existing systems.
• You work fluently with cloud and virtualization technologies.
• You design, ingest, normalize, enrich, and route security data across multiple sources.
• You integrate security tools and embed security into CI/CD processes.
• You collaborate across teams to ensure instrumentation is complete and accurate.

Responsibilities

• Be the hands-on technical owner of SIEM, data‑warehouse, and security tooling across IT, OT, cloud, and bare metal.
• Design, deploy, and operate security tooling and data infrastructure for log onboarding and alert tuning.
• Architect and maintain the security data platform across endpoints, network, cloud, OT/ICS, and physical security tooling.
• Build and manage integrations across EDR, vulnerability management, SOAR, CASB, and identity platforms.
• Embed security into the software development lifecycle including CI/CD pipeline security and secrets management.
• Develop tooling for automated security-data collection and quality validation across multi-site facilities.
