Job summary

Stripe is building a security telemetry platform within Stripe Security. The Product Security Data Platforms team is establishing a foundational data pipeline and presentation layer to give customers unprecedented visibility into the security of their Stripe integrations.

You’ll contribute to large-scale security data pipelines, APIs, and interfaces to transform streaming data into actionable insights for enterprise customers, while collaborating with security researchers and platform teams

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience shipping and maintaining complex systems.
• Experience with high-throughput data pipelines (Kafka, Flink, Spark or similar).
• Proficient in Java, C++, or Rust.
• Operational mindset with high-availability services, on-call, observability.
• Strong technical writing and ability to mentor engineers while collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable foundations for a high-throughput security data pipeline processing millions of events per second.
• Develop API-first services and streaming APIs for enterprise customers.
• Engineer security signals to surface anomalous behavior and actionable insights.
• Contribute to design on data modeling, storage strategies, and abstraction layers for future products.
• Maintain quality with well-tested code and ensure 99.99%+ availability.
• Collaborate with Stripe's platform and data teams to keep data isolated and secure.
