Job summary

Stripe is building a security telemetry platform to monitor and protect the digital ecosystem across the world. You will join the Product Security Data Platforms team to design and implement scalable data pipelines and developer-friendly interfaces for security insights.

You'll work on high-throughput streaming data, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with security researchers and threat detection experts. This is a founding team with significant impact from day one.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience with large-scale systems.
• Expertise in data engineering and distributed systems with high-throughput pipelines.
• Strong programming fundamentals in Java, C++, or Rust.
• Operational mindset with high availability, on-call experience, and observability.
• Excellent technical writing and ability to mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable foundations for high-throughput security telemetry pipelines.
• Develop API-first services and streaming APIs for enterprise ingestion.
• Engineer security signals with researchers to surface high-fidelity insights.
• Contribute to data modeling, storage strategies, and abstraction layers.
• Write clean, well-tested code and maintain code quality and resilience.
• Collaborate with platform and data teams to secure data while remaining isolated.
