Job summary

Noblis is seeking a highly technical data analytics and cybersecurity professional to support FAA TIS environment. You will analyze large datasets, automate data collection, and validate data integrity to provide actionable security insights.

Responsibilities include developing scripts, leveraging Excel and data visualization tools, and collaborating with cybersecurity, network, and infrastructure teams to strengthen security posture and compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Cybersecurity, IT, Telecommunications, Data Analytics, Computer Science)
• 0–5 years of cybersecurity/network security or related IT experience
• Strong data analysis skills for large datasets, accuracy and security relevance
• Experience automating data collection, validation, transformation, and reporting with scripting languages
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, complex formulas, lookups, Power Query, data validation and reporting
• Ability to validate network security data including firewall rules, configurations, access controls, vulnerabilities, and inventories
• Understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS)
• Familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST RMF, FISMA, NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5)
• Ability to identify discrepancies and security risks through quantitative analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences
• US Citizenship or Green Card with 3+ years of U.S. residency
• Ability to obtain FAA Public Trust

Responsibilities

• Analyze large volumes of network, security, and operational data to identify trends and risks
• Develop and maintain scripts and automated processes to collect, transform, validate, and report on security data
• Use advanced Excel features to support analysis and reporting
• Perform data integrity assessments for accuracy and completeness of datasets
• Reconcile data across multiple systems to ensure reliability
• Validate network security configurations, firewall rules, routing, VPNs, and asset inventories
• Support cybersecurity teams with data validation and inventories
• Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for security posture and compliance
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and reporting through automation
• Support federal cybersecurity initiatives ensuring alignment with standards
• Assist with technology modernization, network transitions, and infrastructure upgrades
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, network engineering, infrastructure, and program management teams
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
