Job summary

Oakland University is seeking a full-time Security position for Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, MI. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment, enforcing security policies, and monitoring the estate and staff to prevent incidents.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree or equivalent and a valid driver’s license, with prior security or related experience and strong communication and analytical skills. Weekend and night hours are required, and background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Security, law enforcement, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a thorough background investigation.
• Excellent integrity and demonstrated good moral character and initiative.
• Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.
• Must be available to work weekend and nighttime hours.
• Able to stand for periods and traverse the estate for rounds.

• Monitor premises and personnel to prevent incidents and ensure safety.
