Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Security Coordinator 3 to join our Personnel Security Team at our Dulles, VA location.
In this position, you will work closely with senior executives, customers, and government representatives. The ideal candidate will have outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization, and the ability to protect and maintain confidentiality. To be successful, you must be an exceptional team player, proactive, self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Provide program security and personnel security (PERSEC) support, including review and process required documentation for SAP and SCI nomination processes; prepare and administer program indoctrination and debriefings; access, review and submit clearance/access information using DISS and JADE; maintain PERSEC databases; manage incoming and outgoing visit authorizations.
Generate and/or review Program Access Request (PAR) packages; ensure all required information is included and accurate. Generate Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA) and execute briefs/debriefs on behalf of the government security team.
Familiarization with the DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals and other applicable security regulations.
Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures.
Maintain liaison and good working relationships with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers.
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional education and/or related administrative, clerical or security experience.
Candidate must be a US citizen, have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level.
Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office.
Demonstrated, relevant security experience with industrial security programs.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess the skills required to manage time and tasks independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Strong working knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives and DoD security requirements.
Salary Range: $48,600 - $81,000
