TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the time.

Northrop Grumman Enterprise Security Shared Services (ESSS) organization seeks a Security Coordinator 3 to support the Personnel Security Clearances process. The position is located in Irving, TX, and reports to the Industrial Security Analyst Team Lead.

Responsibilities

• Support personnel security clearance transactions, including initial requests, transfers, conversions, upgrades/downgrades, and periodic re-investigations.
• Utilize personnel security systems (JPAS/DISS, SCUS, ESIS, e‑QIP) to process clearance transactions.
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Collect, track, analyze, and report investigation status on a frequent basis.
• Use the Security Shared Service call center tools (case management system, IVR, knowledge base, Agent Dashboard) to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone calls, etc., and maintain applicant information and investigation history in multiple databases.
• Fingerprint applicants and perform other duties to support team initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of additional education and/or related experience.
• Experienced security professional with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on site in Irving, TX (no remote work).
• Current U.S. Government Secret clearance (or higher).
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00AM – 6:00PM CST.
• Proven customer service, teamwork, and process improvement skills.
• Strong problem‑solving ability using training, knowledge, tools, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills with customers, partners, vendors, management, and employees.
• Confident phone presence and exceptional customer service skills.
• Accurate and complete documentation skills utilizing case management systems and Microsoft products.
• Active Top Secret clearance (preferred).
• Previous industrial security experience, preferably with clearance processing (SF86, eQIPs).
• Experience interacting with customers in a call center or service center environment.
• Experience with telephony systems and case management systems.
• Experience with a case management system or related personnel security databases such as JPAS/DISS and SIMS.
• Computer literate and current on new technology such as Microsoft Office suite.

Compensation & Benefits

Primary level salary range: $49,100.00 – $81,800.00. Salary offers are based on the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results.
