Job summary

The Unconventional is seeking a qualified Security Cooperation Analyst (Periphery CFT) to support SOCPAC with a focus on periphery countries within the INDOPACOM AOR. This role plans and coordinates a full range of special operations for SOCPAC OAIs, guiding Security Cooperation programs from inception to completion and reporting to COMSOCPAC and the SOCPAC Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to conduct periodic theater and CONUS travel (~4–6 weeks annually).
• Must possess or be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• Must possess proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• 3+ years of experience managing people and teams.
• Requires 2-3 years of Security Cooperation Experience.
• Knowledge of Security Cooperation Authorities, Objectives, Primary Stakeholders and Processes.
• Prefer 2-3 years of Special Operations Experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple SC programs under Title 10 authorities and APRI.
• Engage with foreign partners to synchronize regional efforts.
• Review submissions from subordinate JSOTFs and OAIs.
• Support Global Force Management for timely SOCOM deployments.
• Coordinate with OHASIS for 333 OAIs and 333 submissions.
• Assist with continuity of information between rotational units and HQ.
• Contribute to campaign planning with consolidated assessments.
• Attend SC planning conferences in the U.S. and abroad.
