Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Security Control Assessor II to conduct comprehensive assessments of IS security controls across collateral, SCI, and SAP environments.

You will determine control effectiveness, identify vulnerabilities, and propose corrective actions in a DoD context. The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph eligibility, 3+ years in SAP/SCI security, and collaboration with ISO, IDO, PSO, and DAO/AO to maintain compliance and support government

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience in SAP, SCI or Collateral Information Systems (IS) Security and the implementation of regulations identified in the description of duties
• Prior performance in the role of ISSO and ISSM or SCA
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as stated

Responsibilities

• Oversee IS security program policy development, implementation, and evaluation, including SAP network integration
• Assess ISs using RMF methodology per JSIG guidance
• Advise ISO/IDO/PSO/DAO on assessment and authorization issues
• Evaluate security authorization packages and provide recommendations
• Assess threats and vulnerabilities to determine safeguards
• Advise on impact levels for CIA of information systems
• Prepare SAR and POA&Ms for authorization boundaries
• Review security documentation and provide written recommendations
• Coordinate with AO/DAO on authorization discussions
• Assist with government security inspections and incident handling
• Ensure SDLC phases are addressed and security controls evaluated
• Review hardware/software for security impact on boundaries
• Evaluate CM plans and CDS differences across domains
• Support cross-domain solution assessments with DoD partners
