VetJobs in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a full-time Security Control Room Officer to monitor access, perform patrols on client premises, and respond to incidents.

You will work night or early shifts, receive benefits, paid training, and weekly pay. Requires high school diploma and valid driver's license; prior security or military experience is a plus.

Salary is $22 per hour with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
• Must be able to complete GED program within 6 months if lacking diploma.
• Standard computer/technology skills required.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Must interact with a wide range of individuals calmly and professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and vigilance during shifts.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid, sound judgement.

Responsabilités

• Assist with access control at security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside/outside client premises in various conditions.
• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
• Interact with client employees and guests frequently.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written incident and daily activity reports.

Security Control Room Officer — Full Time — Hillsboro, OR

Wage: $22.00/HR

Available Schedules

• Saturday - Tuesday 10pm-6am
• Saturday - Wednesday 6am-2pm
• Day/Swing Shift Flex
• Swing/Grave Shift Flex

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Minimum Education Required

High School/GED

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
