Everforth Apex is seeking a Security Control Assessor in San Diego, CA for a 4.5-year W2 contract. The role focuses on security control assessments across IT and OT, evaluating system security posture and RMF compliance.

You will review implementations in on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, communicate findings to government leadership, and support authorization activities while maintaining a professional demeanor under pressure.

Qualifikationen

• Must have 20+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance.
• Deep RMF/NIST 800-53 and government context knowledge.

• Conduct security control assessments and evaluations of system posture.
• Review security implementations across IT/OT and cloud environments.
• Provide cybersecurity oversight on enterprise-scale systems.
• Evaluate controls, identify gaps, ensure RMF compliance.
