Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance are required.
• Minimum 5 years in information security with focus on control assessment.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800 series and FISMA regulations.
• Certifications such as CISSP/CISM/CISA/CAP are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and in teams in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of security controls on DSCA systems for regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain SAPs, SARs, and POA&M documentation.
• Perform risk assessments to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Provide detailed recommendations to mitigate risks and improve security posture.
• Collaborate with system owners, IT staff, and cybersecurity teams for effective control implementation.
• Conduct continuous monitoring to ensure ongoing policy compliance.
• Guide A&A processes, including SSP development and maintenance.
• Assist in cybersecurity training and awareness for DSCA personnel.
• Stay current with cybersecurity threats and trends to improve methodologies.
• Participate in security audits to ensure adherence to standards.
