Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking an experienced Security Control Assessor to lead RMF-based evaluations of IS security controls, including SAP, SCI, and collateral environments. You will advise senior stakeholders on authorization issues and coordinate SARs and POA&Ms to ensure compliance across authorization boundaries.

The role requires 5+ years in security, with prior ISSO/ISSM experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience in IS security.
• Minimum of three years in SAP, SCI or Collateral IS Security.
• Prior performance in the role of ISSO and ISSM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, implementation and evaluation of IS security program policy.
• Assess IS threats and vulnerabilities and recommend safeguards.
• Advise ISO/IDO/PSO/DAO on assessment and authorization issues.
• Evaluate authorization packages and provide recommendations to AO/DAO.
• Prepare SARs and initiate POA&Ms for assessed boundaries.
• Represent the customer on inspection teams and assist security incidents.
