Job summary

Chenega MIOS in Arlington, VA is seeking a Security Control Assessor (SCA) to join our team supporting DoD and federal programs. You will evaluate RMF implementations, author security documentation (SSP/SAR/SAP), and lead risk-based monitoring across information systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years relevant experience.
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• DOD 8140 IAM Level II required.

Responsibilities

• Advise the A&A Manager on impact levels for confidentiality, integrity and availability.
• Conduct SAP for each package assessment and ensure timely completion.
• Initiate POA&M with identified weaknesses and suspense dates.
• Evaluate documentation and provide recommendations for security authorization.
• Develop a continuous monitoring plan aligned to DoD strategies.
• Prepare Security Assessment Plans, SARs, and other NIST-aligned docs.
