Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Security Control Assessor I to conduct comprehensive assessments of management, operational, and technical security controls within IS to determine overall effectiveness and compliance with security requirements. The role includes coverage of Collateral, SCI and SAP environments.

You will advise stakeholders, evaluate RMF-based security packages, and prepare SARs, contributing to authorization decisions and remediation planning. U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related information security experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in SAP, SCI or Collateral IS Security and implementation of regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, implementation and evaluation of IS security program policy; emphasis on SAP integration.
• Assess ISs using RMF methodology per JSIG guidance.
• Advise ISO/IDO/PSO/DAO/AO on assessment and authorization issues.
• Evaluate Authorization packages and make recommendations for authorization.
• Evaluate threats and vulnerabilities to determine required safeguards.
• Advise Government on impact levels for CIA for information on a system.
• Prepare SAR and ensure documentation of security assessments.
• Initiate POA&M for identified weaknesses and track remediation.
• Review and concur with sanitizations and clearing procedures per policy.
• Support Government security inspections and incident response.
