Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking Security Control Assessors/Representatives to lead security control assessments across high‑priority DoD AI projects. Based in Arlington, VA with hybrid/remote options, you will evaluate AWS security controls, contribute to SSPs/SAPs/SARs/POA&Ms, and drive risk reduction across DevSecOps pipelines.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, lead TEMs, develop reusable playbooks, and ensure risk‑driven decisions for rapid prototyping AI systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance and DoD IAM Level II/III cert.
• 5–7+ years in security control assessments for DoD or federal systems.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and security controls in cloud-native/CICD.
• Experience with RMF artifacts (SSPs, SAPs, SARs, POA&Ms).
• Familiar with GRC tools like eMASS or XACTA.

Responsibilities

• Execute formal SCA/R duties.
• Lead assessment efforts and reusable playbooks/frameworks for rapid AI deployment.
• Evaluate security controls across AWS, DevSecOps pipelines, microservices, containers, and GenAI/LLM stacks.
• Bridge OffSec and development with TEMs, workshops, and cross-functional communication.
• Act as SME and lead developer for custom offensive tooling and integrated platform components.
• Review and maintain SSPs, SAPs, SARs, and POA&Ms for rapid prototyping AI systems.
• Assess security risks in AI/LLM implementations (API exposure, vector DB access).
• Support ConMon, risk evaluations, and cloud architecture reviews across multi-tenant/classification environments.
• Coordinate with AOs, PMs, and engineering leads for risk briefings and ATOs.
• Provide input for cybersecurity engineering and pentesting on prototypes.
